Man City complete 2022 summer tour schedule with Bayern Munich friendly

Manchester City will play Bayern Munich at the home of the Green Bay Packers to round off their US pre-season tour this summer.

After two years without travelling anywhere for pre-season owing to the restrictions and health concerns around Covid-19, Pep Guardiola and his players will head back to the United States for the first time since 2018 as they look to prepare for a campaign that will include the unprecedented event of a winter World Cup in the middle of the domestic campaign.

A friendly against Mexican side Club America at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas was announced last week for July 20; the stadium hosted the first-ever Manchester derby outside of the UK in 2017, a match that saw a young Phil Foden leave Guardiola speechless with the quality of his performance.
