Man City boss Pep Guardiola's Arsenal theory could be about to be proved wrong
Manchester City are riding the crest of a wave in all competitions.
Wednesday's draw at Bayern Munich in the Champions League was enough to see them progress to the semi-finals of Europe's elite competition. Pep Guardiola's side showed maturity in a hostile atmosphere to ensure they did not slip up.
Fast forward to Saturday and City made their experience show as Sheffield United were brushed aside. The Blues' approach to the run-in has been night and day to what is happening in North London.

From a position of dominance, Arsenal look to have hit a brick wall. After the 4-1 victory on April Fool's Day against Leeds United, the Gunners have stalled to disappointing draws against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton.
City now sit five points behind Mikel Arteta's team with two games in hand. They know that a win on Wednesday night against Arsenal would be a huge boost in their bid to retain their title.
Guardiola confessed last month that he would rather be in Arsenal's position - eight points clear but with a relatively inexperienced side - than City's, as the reigning champions looked to win their games in hand to stay within touching distance of their rivals. Speaking back in March, the Catalan boss said: "I'd prefer to be in Arsenal's position in the Premier League than the one we have.
"The advantage is that they are eight points in front of us, this is the real advantage. The past is the past, experience doesn't count, absolutely nothing.
"I don't think [Arsenal's inexperience will cost them], I don't believe in that," he added. "They have many points still to play for, many games to play, and a lot of things can happen.
