Man City 2024 USA tour fixtures confirmed with four glamour opponents including Barcelona

Pep Guardiola will be reunited with Barcelona in the summer, with four pre-season fixtures announced as part of Manchester City's 2024/25 summer tour.

City will potentially play in front of around 250,000 fans across four fixtures in July and August, taking place in North Carolina, New York, Orlando and Ohio. Last month, MEN Sport revealed City's plans to tour America for the second time in three years, with the club now confirming four fixtures across 12 days.

In 2025, City will be back in the USA for the newly-revamped Club World Cup, qualifying for that tournament having won the Champions League last season. The club enjoyed a lucrative tour to Houston and Green Bay in 2022 as Erling Haaland made his first appearance for the club, before earning around £15m from their tour of Japan and South Korea last summer.

Kicking off this summer's tour in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on July 23, City will take on Scottish giants Celtic at the 50,000-capacity Kenan Stadium. After that, the Blues travel to New York, where they will face AC Milan at the iconic Yankee Stadium on July 27.

Sister club New York City FC have played fixtures there since 2015, as they wait for a bespoke stadium to be built, and the MLS side will play a game the following day at the same venue. City played at the Yankee Stadium 10 years ago against Liverpool.
