Man City 2024/25 home kit 'leaked' with eye-catching new detail fans will love

Manchester City's new home kit for the 2024/25 season may have just been leaked accidentally in China.

According to X user Robbie Huang, the Chinese Puma website showcased the new City shirt as being available for sale. However, this was quickly changed to state that it will be ready to purchase on May 2.

The image of the new kit has not been removed from the website though, leading many to believe that this could be the new shirt for next season. Unsurprisingly, the German manufacturer has favoured a light blue home shirt for this season.

However, the eye-catching new detail can be found on the sleeves and collar as the Blues pay homage to their Manchester home. The shirt portrays the area code '0161' there which is given to Manchester landline phone numbers.

The '0161' design can also be found on the inside of the shirt which will no doubt please supporters. Puma and City have made a habit of paying tribute to the club's history with their kit designs.

This season, the home shirt recognised the 20th anniversary of the club moving to the Etihad Stadium. The front graphic portrayed the architecture of the stadium while the design was similar to that worn in the first season at their new home.

Meanwhile, last season's shirt paid tribute to the legendary City player Colin Bell who, in 1967, led the club to their first league title. Fittingly, Pep Guardiola's men marked that season with the Blues' first Champions League and treble success.
