Man charged after 'dangerous dog' killed by armed police
A man has been charged in connection with an incident involving a 'dangerous dog' in Rochdale.
Police were called to Rowland Court on Tuesday night (May 16) over concerns for a woman in a house. A 'dangerous dog' escaped from a property and was killed by armed police.
It was 'humanely destroyed', police said previously. A man was arrested on the scene.

Dean Barnes, of Rowland Court, Rochdale, has now been charged with being the owner of a dog that was dangerously out of control. The 41-year-old has been released on bail.
He will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday, June 21.
