Man 'ages backwards' to look 30 years younger after barber's dramatic haircut

Haircuts can significantly transform a person's look.

Whether it's a minor trim or a drastic change, it often requires a lot of courage for someone to schedule an appointment at the hair salon. A man is now seemingly reversing his age after a dramatic haircut made him appear "looking 30 years younger".

In a TikTok post, user @nguyensteadycutting, also known as Richmond Barber with over 1.7million followers, recently cut a customer's hair that seemed to take years off his appearance.

The video begins with the barber removing the customer's hat. The man then humorously remarks: "I've got hair, surprise. At my age, I've got some hair."

He tells the barber: "I'm hoping for the magic 'cause I need to leave here feeling good and feeling a 100% and younger. What I want to do is something that's current, makes me look younger, mid fades and maybe the messy fringe.

"I put a little dabble to make my hair a little darker. I want to look a little bit more modern."

Moments later, the barber starts working his "magic". The man looks entirely different after the haircut, sporting a textured fringe and a mid drop fade on the sides.

When asked how he feels post-haircut, the client exclaims: "Lord Jesus, oh my look at that wow. Oh my God, I feel like I've lost weight and gained a personality."

The video quickly racked up 97,000 likes and over 700 comments. One user commented: "Pops is feeling himself after this cut." Another chimed in with: "Looks great." A third was astonished, saying: "He looks 30 years younger."

Many were in disbelief that it was the same person. And this isn't the first time the Richmond Barber amazed a client with a totally different look.
