Man, 59, arrested after 30 cannabis plants found at house

A man was arrested after 30 cannabis plants were found in a house in Wythenshawe.

Police raided a property on Wendover Road just before 7.30am this morning (Thursday). They found 30 cannabis plants inside.

A 59-year-old man was arrested. He will now be questioned in custody under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "#ARREST I Officers from GMP's Wythenshawe Neighbourhood Team found around 30 cannabis plants after carrying out a warrant on Wendover Road this morning - a 59-year-old man is in custody after being arrested under the Misuse of Drugs Act."
