Man, 50, charged with murder of Katie Kenyon - mum who has been missing for six days
A man has been charged with the murder of a missing mum who has not been seen in six days. Katie Kenyon, 33, was last seen at 9.30am on April 22 when it is believed she travelled in a Ford Transit van which left Burnley towards the Bolton by Bowland area.
She has not been seen since. Andrew Burfield, 50, of Todmorden Road, Burnley, is due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court at 10am tomorrow.
Katie’s family have been made aware and continues to be supported by specially trained officers, Lancashire Police said. Her family have passed on their thanks for all the well-wishing messages but have asked people to respect their privacy at this time, they added.

Police continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
