Malik Tillman in permanent Rangers transfer tease as Bayern Munich loanee takes aim at Partick Thistle players

Rangers loanee Malik Tillman has opened the door to a permanent transfer from Bayern Munich after impressing under Michael Beale at Ibrox.

Tillman endured a mixed start to life at Rangers after joining from the Bundesliga giants on loan last summer under Gio van Bronckhorst, but since the arrival of the Londoner the 20-year-old has captured his best form and could see the Ibrox side trigger their £5million option for a permanent deal if Bayern decides to sell him.

Asked about the possibility of remaining at Ibrox, he said: "I just want to play as much as possible. To me it’s relatively unimportant where that is. I feel comfortable here, in fact very comfortable. I bring my performances which I think Rangers are really happy with. But I could also imagine the same with the people at Bayern. We'll see – the outcome’s open."

Tillman also broke his silence on the controversial goal he scored against Partick Thistle. Beale allowed the Scottish Championship side to cancel out Tillman's goal after the 20-year-old took advantage of a break in play after picking up a knock, with Thistle star Kevin Holt set to return the ball to the Ibrox hosts. But the US international misread the situation and snatched the ball off midfielder Holt before stroking past keeper Jamie Sneddon.

The visitors were furious and mobbed the Rangers star as he looked to celebrate, before Scott Tiffoney was allowed to walk the ball into the net and make it 2-2, with James Sands scoring a late winner for the cup holders.
