Major supermarket is selling massive 99p turkeys - and it's not Aldi, ASDA or Lidl

One of the UK's most popular supermarkets is selling giant turkeys for 99p. The frozen birds, which feed 16-19 people, usually cost £27, but have been drastically reduced.

The bargain turkeys were spotted by shopper Jessie Kim. They posted a picture of the 99p turkey on the popular Yellow Sticker Shopping Tips, Tricks and Hauls group.

The Morrisons Frozen Basted Turkey Extra Large weighs 7.8-8.3kg, and serves 16-19. At 99p, that makes the turkey a maximum of 6p per serving.

Unfortunately, the turkeys are now out of stock online. Hardly a surprise at a price like that.

But shoppers say they have spotted them in Morrisons supermarkets. Danielle Thomsen said: "There was loads in my local Morrisons and loads of ice cream reduced to 36p also! Picked up some of these as well."

Mel Wimmer said: "Yes please and thank you." Heather Stothard Chandler wrote: "Out of stock. Damn that went quick."

It's worth checking your local store to see if they have the much reduced turkeys in stock. You can find your local Morrisons store using the store locator here.
