Major search continues to find missing man, 51, not seen for 16 days

A major police search is continuing to find a missing man who has not been seen for 16 days. Nicholas Flood, who has links to Denton, was last seen on May 3 in the Victoria Road area of Macclesfield.

The 51-year-old, reported missing days later on May 13, was last sighted at around 6.30am. It is believed he could have travelled to Macclesfield Forest or Castleton, but he also has links to Denton.

He is described as white, around 6’ tall, of a slim build, and has black and grey hair which may be worn in a bun, and a beard.

Officers from Cheshire Constabulary are urging anyone who sees Nicholas or has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

Inspector Josh Jones, said: “We have been conducting a number of enquiries to trace Nicholas and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen Nicholas since he was last spotted to get in touch with us. The same goes for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or CCTV or dashcam footage of him.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Nicholas; please let us know you are OK.”
