Major road taped off as crews spend eight hours tackling building fire
Crews spent eight hours at the scene of a fire in Stockport. Police closed off Gorton Road, in Reddish, yesterday (June 4) as emergency services descended on the street.
It followed a blaze at a commercial building, according to Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service. Crews were called out to the scene before 3.20pm.
Images from the scene show a number of police cars in attendance as officers directed traffic away from the area. The road was taped off for a number of hours.
