Major police response at Welsh beach as officers search for a missing man - live

A major search has been launched after a man went missing at a beach. A number of police search teams were pictured at Manorbier beach on Tuesday after a 45-year-old man was reported missing.

The man, named by police only as Anthony, was last seen at around 6pm on Monday (April 25), at the Pembrokeshire beach, walking towards Lydstep along the coast path.

Anthony is white, around 6ft 3in tall with short light brown hair, police said. He was wearing a dark top and trousers.

Appealing for information on Facebook in the early hours of Tuesday, police said: "We are very concerned for his safety, and are urging anyone who might have seen him to contact us."
