The Gers boss has revealed that the Rangers gem came off in the 26th minute on Sunday with a groin issue and he is hopeful that it will not keep him out for their European clash later this week.

He told the Daily Record: “Lundstram felt a little bit in his groin so we have to assess it in the next few days and see how he is. Hopefully he can make it for Thursday.”

The Gers face off against the Portuguese side later this week in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie, having lost the opener 1-0.
