Major blow: Rangers now hit with significant setback that'll leave supporters gutted - opinion

Rangers have been hit with a major setback over midfielder Aaron Ramsey this week…

According to Italian outlet Calcio Pillole, via the Daily Record, the Wales international is not interested in joining the Glasgow giants for a second spell next term. He is not considering another deal with the Gers and will head back to his parent club this summer.

The Daily Record has also carried a claim from Gazzetta dello Sport stating that the midfielder may not play again this season due to the hamstring injury he sustained in the Scottish Cup on Sunday and his loan spell could be cut short before the end of the campaign.

Ramsey scored 65 goals and provided 65 assists in his time at Arsenal and then managed six goals and six assists in 70 games for Juventus. This shows that he can be a consistent threat at the top end of the pitch and that is why fans will be fuming with his current stance on a return.

The Ibrox faithful will also be gutted with the latest injury update. For the reasons listed above,
