Maidstone United 2 Worthing 0 FA Trophy match report: Stones set up Notts County tie in Fourth Round

A freak goal from Ryan Galvin and a late clincher from Jack Barham sent Maidstone through in the FA Trophy.

Galvin scored direct from a cross for a half-time lead against Worthing and Barham added an injury-time clincher to set up a trip to Notts County in Round Four.

Ollie Pearce put a dangerous ball across the face of goal for Worthing at the start of the second half, while Josh Chambers hit the side-netting.

There was a decent chance at the other end when Sam Corne nodded a Deacon free-kick back across goal to Barham, who put the ball over in the six-yard box.

Another Deacon free-kick was headed wide by Bivesh Gurung when
