Maidstone United 0 Chippenham Town 1 match report: Jake Evans’ first-half goal settles National League South game at the Gallagher Stadium

A poor game was settled by a lovely strike as Maidstone lost at home to Chippenham.

Jake Evans’ first-half bullet separated the sides, with United losing back-to-back matches in National League South for the first time this season.

Maidstone huffed and puffed in search of an equaliser before a moment of quality from Matt Rush to turn on Appiah’s pass but Henry got down to make the save.

Appiah, defensively sound and positive coming forward, had been Maidstone’s best
