Mahrez to return — Man City predicted line up vs Everton in Premier League fixture

Pep Guardiola will have a selection dilemma tomorrow (Saturday) for Manchester City's game against Everton as his side will be looking to bounce back from their defeat by Spurs last weekend.

The big news ahead of the match at Goodison Park is that Guardiola has welcomed back both Jack Grealish and Gabriel Jesus to full fitness.

The City duo have been involved in training and the manager said that both are ready to play against the Toffees.

Despite being deemed fit, it is unlikely that Guardiola will throw both players back in from the start straightaway, it is likely that Grealish and Jesus will have to settle for a spot on the bench.

Riyad Mahrez will be pushing to start after his cameo against Spurs, scoring what looked like to be late equaliser from the penalty spot — only for the Algerian and his City teammates to be stunned by Harry Kane’s even later winner.

Guardiola could move Bernardo Silva back in the midfield trio alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri, which would allow Mahrez to start on the right side of the attacking threesome with Raheem Sterling on the left flank and Phil Foden operating at the number 9 role.

Cole Palmer and Zack Steffen looks unlikely to be involved as they are still recovering from their respective injuries.

There is a possibility that we could see the same eleven that started against Spurs last week, with Guardiola able to make only a few number of changes.

Predicted City starting XI vs Everton: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Bernardo, Rodri, De Bruyne; Mahrez, Foden, Sterling.
