Magnificent 14-man Lions roar loudly to end South Africa's curse in Galway against Connacht
The Lions delivered arguably their greatest performance away from home in the URC with a magnificent 36-14 victory over Connacht in Galway on Saturday night.
The Dexcon Stadium hasn't been a happy hunting ground for South African teams previously owing to its awkward weather, but - confronted with relatively decent conditions - the men from Doornfontein fronted up brilliantly to score no less than six tries.
More impressively, they did so while playing 62 minutes with 14 men following Asenathi Ntlabakanye's red card.
The victory keeps the Lions' ambitions of a historic play-off spot in the URC very much alive.
