'Magical' mince pie window has opened in Manchester giving out free festive treats and brews
Today, four major cities in the UK are giving out thousands of festive treats - all in aid of a good cause. Sainsbury's has launched a series of mince pie windows as it raises money for Comic Relief.
The 'first-ever' magical mince pie windows, which are inspired by the ancient wine windows of Florence, will be popping up in London, Newcastle, Birmingham and Manchester until the end of today (December 3).
Visitors can make a suggested donation of £1 to Comic Relief, kicking off Sainsbury’s December donation initiative, with every penny from each pack of Sainsbury's and Free from mince pies going towards helping families experiencing food poverty this winter.
