Mack Hansen and Darragh Murray added to Ireland squad ahead of Australia clash
Connacht duo Mack Hansen and Darragh Murray have been added to the Ireland squad ahead of Ireland's clash with Australia on Saturday.
Jamie Osborne has been ruled out for the remaining games of the series due to a shoulder injury in the win over Japan in the Aviva Stadium.
Hansen has played only one game for Connacht since the Lions tour in the summer, where he picked up an injury.
Should he be fit, Hansen could start at full-back, with Hugo Keenan and now Osborne ruled out. Leinster's Jimmy O'Brien and Ulster's Jacob Stockdale are also options.
Second-row Murray started in the Ireland 'A' side, which defeated Spain on Saturday, having won his first caps for Ireland in the summer tour of Georgia and Portugal.
Centre Garry Ringrose and Leinster team-mate Josh van der Flier are both hoping to prove their fitness after respective hamstring strains kept them out against Japan.
The Wallabies are bidding to bounce back from successive defeats. They were surprisingly beaten 26-19 by Italy in Udine on Saturday and lost 25-7 to England at the Allianz Stadium the previous week.
