M60 LIVE traffic updates with lanes shut and queues building after crash

Traffic is building on a stretch of the M60 near Stockport this morning after a crash.

Two lanes are currently closed on the clockwise carriageway, according to traffic alert service Inrix. They are shut between junction 27 for the Portwood Roundabout and junction one for the Stockport Pyramid.

Four vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision. Delays are building up to the closure.

Congestion is currently back to around junction 23 for Ashton-under-Lyne.

The earlier crash is still affecting the surrounding roads in Stockport.

According to traffic alert service Inrix, there are still long delays on the clockwise carriageway between J27 and J1 due to the earlier closure.

Travel time is around 35 minutes through the area.

There are still delays of around 40 minutes.

National Highways officers are on the scene.
