M4 closures on two sections of motorway as crash forces emergency repairs and new incident delays drivers

There is disruption on the M4 due to a number of separate incidents. There is heavy traffic and congestion on and around the M4 in Carmarthenshire due to a lane closure.

One lane is closed on the M4 eastbound after Pont Abraham Roundabout for "emergency repairs". Traffic monitoring system Inrix reports that there is congestion on the M4, as well as on the A48 and A483.

On Tuesday night, there was an accident on the same stretch of the M4 which left the road closed for a number of hours.

There were also earlier delays on the M4 eastbound at the Prince of Wales bridge. Recovery work and an obstruction on the road caused slow traffic but it has since returned to normal.
