M4 and train travel Taylor Swift live updates as fans head to Cardiff for huge Eras Tour gig
As thousands of fans head to Cardiff for the mega Taylor Swift gig at the Principality Stadium we will be monitoring the M4, routes into Cardiff and public transport. There have been heavy delays on the M4 westbound service near to the Brynglas tunnels in Newport.
Fans are being warned to "expect delays" on the road network on Tuesday. Traffic Wales is warning anyone heading to the city for Tuesday night's gig to "allow extra time" for their journeys, especially on the M4.
The warning comes after drivers experienced 19 miles of tailbacks on the M4 when Pink played at the Principality Stadium last week, and two years ago some fans missed the Ed Sheeran gig when they got stuck in three-hour delays.
Hundreds of fans were already in the city on Tuesday morning, but thousands more are expected to travel during the day on Tuesday. There had been disruption on train lines into the city, but the Rhymney line has now re-opened and delays are expected to clear.
