M&S launch Jubilee hampers and cocktail picnics perfect for June Bank Holiday

It feels like we’ve had nothing but Bank Holidays this year with Easter and the early May holidays falling so close together. But with Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee just around the corner, shoppers are stocking up ready for a four-day weekend of celebrations.

And Marks and Spencer have launched a hamper that contains everything shoppers need to have a good old knees up in honour of the longest reigning monarch.

The 17-item hamper is available to pre-order now, ready for it to arrive on June 1, the day before the Bank Holiday Thursday.

Coming beautifully packaged in a wicker hamper basket, the £100 Jubilee set is perfect for picnics and garden parties, featuring quintessentially British treats like mini Victoria sandwich cakes and Wensleydale cheese and cranberry crown.

There are also little keepsakes like a collectable tin and Jubilee tote bag, as well as everything you need to avoid doing the washing up post-party, like paper plates, napkins and of course, bunting to hang from the washing line.
