Lyndon Arthur tipped to send reminder in 'massive' Walter Sequeira fight

Kalle Sauerland has backed Lyndon Arthur to remind a home crowd just how good he is ahead of his fight which takes place in Bolton, Greater Manchester on Saturday night.

The Wasserman Boxing head is in the UK promoting Arthur's return to action against Sequeira this weekend at the University of Bolton Stadium and is also promoting Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr which takes place on October 8th. However, his sights are currently set on Saturday with an exciting card set to entertain fans at the home of Bolton Wanderers FC.

Arthur returns to the ring having lost his last fight, a rematch against Anthony Yarde in London in which he lost his Commonwealth & WBO Intercontinental Light-Heavyweight belts. Sauerland has backed the 31-year-old Mancunian to return to his best in front of a local crowd on Saturday.

He told Manchester Evening News when asked about the event: "I'm extremely excited. When we discussed the possibility of having Lyndon with us, it was never a case of either side needing much convincing. The fight will take place on free-to air television, with Channel Five televising the show from 9:30pm. Sauerland says that he views this as a good opportunity for his fighters to showcase their skills.

He said: "We’re live from 9.30pm in the prime hours of Saturday night. It’s a massive opportunity for all the fighters on this card to perform in the arena, and then those performing in front of homes on free-to-air television. Lyndon has been in big fights
