Music legend Lulu is marking her birthday by announcing that she’ll be hitting the road in 2024, with her ‘Champagne For Lulu’ tour. Today, the singer, actress and TV personality turns 75 and to celebrate she'll be playing five spectacular dates across the country next year.

The Scottish superstar, who boasts accolades including being a Eurovision winner, a Bond Theme singer, and releasing the biggest selling record in the US will stop off in five cities during the April tour. It will kick off in her hometown of Glasgow on April 9, before touring through Manchester, Southampton, Birmingham, and culminating at The London Palladium.

Lulu will play Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on April 10, 2024. Tickets for the 'Champagne For Lulu' tour will go on sale from 10am on Friday 10 November.

Commenting on her upcoming tour, Lulu says she can't believe she's turning 75. "And 60 years in the business! What an amazing journey it’s been, so many memories.

"That’s why I’m going to make sure that my upcoming shows are a momentous celebration. And I promise to whip up one hell of a party, all the hits, my personal stories from behind the scenes, and of course I’ll be inviting some special guests onto the stage with me. Join me, it’s gonna be the party of a lifetime.”

On 17 April 1964, Lulu stormed into the UK charts with her iconic, ‘Shout’, a song that would turn her into a national treasure. Now, exactly 60 years to the day since she released the track, the pop culture pioneer is preparing to celebrate her 75th birthday year
