Luke Shaw heralds Manchester United's 'new beginning' under Erik ten Hag

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw believes Erik ten Hag has changed everything at Old Trafford and has welcomed the fresh start under the Dutchman.

Since arriving at the start of the season, Ten Hag has overseen a renaissance at United. Last Sunday, the Reds secured their first trophy of this new era after beating Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final.

Victory over Barcelona in the Europa League Play Offs have kept United's hopes of European glory well alive while a win over West Ham in midweek saw the Reds progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals. Reflecting on a whirlwind beginning of the Ten Hag era, Shaw praised his boss for the impact he has had at the Theatre of Dreams.

"He's changed everything - but he's changed everything for the better. After a tough start of the season, he's transformed this club into where we should be.

"He's extremely strict, but I think he knows how to win and he knows how to get the best out of the players. I think especially after, like I said, the start of the season he changed everything, and I think changed it for the better.

"We're in a really good place
