Luiz Diaz pulled off a madness in skill show with Harvey Elliott during Liverpool training

Luis Diaz has settled well at Liverpool.

There were high hopes for the Colombian after he signed for the Reds in a £45m deal in January.

Diaz has impressed during his short spell at the club so far.

The 25-year-old bagged his first goal for the club against Norwich earlier this month and has looked dangerous whenever on the pitch.

Diaz has ridiculous technique and he showed that during a skill show with Harvey Elliott in training.

The tricky winger could be seen pulling off the ‘around the world’ skill numerous times as if it was nothing.

He then produced a quite incredible mid-air ‘rainbow flick’ and back-heel volleyed the ball back straight back to Elliott.

Pure brilliance. You can view some reaction to Diaz’s skills, particularly his last one, below…

While Diaz was doing a madness, Ibrahima Konate was not faring too well himself.

The Frenchman tried the same skill twice but got it horribly wrong each time.

We’ll let him off, though. After all, he’s not exactly renowned for skills. He’s a defender and a very good one at that.

Liverpool are currently preparing for their Carabao Cup final against Chelsea on Sunday evening.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have injury worries going into the game. Roberto Firmino has already been ruled out while Diogo Jota is also a doubt.

That means that Diaz is likely to be given another start. He will no doubt be crucial as Liverpool go in search of winning their first piece of silverware of the season.
