Luis Diaz: Liverpool ace tried to recreate Roberto Firmino's no-look finish v Inter

Liverpool are through to the quarter-finals of the 2021/22 Champions League.

The Reds were beaten 1-0 by Inter Milan at Anfield on Tuesday evening, but emerged victorious on aggregate thanks to their 2-0 win at San Siro three weeks ago.

Liverpool were seriously tested by Inter on Merseyside and things appeared to be swinging in the Italian champions’ favour when Lautaro Martinez scored an absolute stunner in the 61st-minute of play.

However, the pendulum swung back towards the home side just two minutes later when former Manchester United and Arsenal man Alexis Sanchez was dubiously sent off for picking up a second yellow card.

Diaz tried to recreate one of Roberto Firmino‘s famous ‘no-look’ finishes, but his attempt was thwarted…

Arturo Vidal displayed some serious courage with this block
