Luis Suarez excites Liverpool fans with moment that will worry Manchester United

Luis Suarez’s latest performance has caught the attention of Liverpool fans and the whole of social media.

The former Reds striker made plenty of headlines during his time at Anfield, where he scored 82 goals in 133 games.

Since his time on Merseyside, Suarez has made a name for himself in Spain where he is in the record books with Barcelona and is now with Atletico Madrid.

The 35-year-old was recently in action for Atletico in their La Liga match against Osasuna on Saturday evening.

He caught the eye with his goal, which saw him control the ball on the halfway line from a corner before volleying his effort with his weaker foot to see it fly past the goalkeeper who had charged off his line.

Plenty of Liverpool fans saw Suarez’s goal in social media and voiced their views on their former hero.

Suarez and Liverpool fans will both be hoping that the former Reds striker will continue his form this week.

Atletico Madrid take on Manchester United in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

The Uruguayan will hope to add to the two goals that he already has against Man United, with both of those coming during his time at Liverpool.

Suarez’s first goal against Man United came in a 2-1 defeat in 2012, with the second coming two years later in the memorable 3-0 victory at Old Trafford in 2014.
