Luis Palma in Rangers charm offensive as he attempts to get on Michael Beale's transfer radar with Premiership nod

Aris star Luis Palma has given the Scottish Premiership a shout-out as a league he admirers - as he looks to attract interest from Rangers this summer.

Michael Beale has already kickstarted his summer rebuild with the addition of Kieran Dowell but the Norwich City recruit won't be the last to come through the door at Ibrox, with the likes of Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland being considered by the Light Blues' during a massive overhaul. Reports in Greece had named the winger as a potential target for Rangers, but Record Sport understands that the Honduras international is not currently on Beale's radar.

But that hasn't stopped the 23-year-old attempted to catch the eye of the Londoner by talking up his admiration for the Scottish game. After netting 12 goals for Aris as they reached fifth in the Greek Super League, he has quickly looked to seal a move away from the club this summer.

Speaking to Honduran outlet Diez, Palma was asked if he would be leaving his current side this summer. He responded: "1000 per cent."

He was then quizzed on what leagues interest him for his next step, and the Premiership was given a knowing shout-out. Palma stated: “I like the the Premier League and Scotland."

The forward also reckons he has improved dramatically as a player this term as he attempted a personal sales pitch to suitors: "Personally I have changed a lot as a person for the better. As a footballer I have changed a lot, thank God for giving me the opportunity to show what (talent) is in Honduras."
