Luis Palma grilled over Celtic start in spontaneous airport interview as one 'marvellous moment' has reporters purring

Luis Palma has superstar status in Honduras as reporters simply had to find out from the man himself how life at Celtic is going.

And the exciting winger was stopped at the airport no less as he ends his international duty with the national side after featuring twice against Cuba, first in a 0-0 draw on Friday before a thumping 4-0 win in CONCACAF Nations League action. Palma has big boots to fill at Celtic after being the man to fill the void left by Jota, and Hoops supporters are already taken by the 23-year-old who has two goals to his name for Brendan Rodgers' men.

But his crowning moment would have been a goal against Lazio in the Champions League, a competition Palma admits he has dreamed of scoring in, that was chopped off through VAR in agonising fashion for the former Aris winger. Yet the Honduran reporters couldn't wait to get a chat with the attacker as he heads back to Glasgow, with Palma talking about the already 'marvellous' occasions he's pulled on the green and white.
