Lucky Arndale shopper could bag year supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts this week

Krispy Kreme is launching its new Manchester Arndale shop this week - and one lucky shopper will be in with the chance of winning a year’s supply of baked goods. The retailer is also launching an exclusive Bee Doughnut - a symbol of the city’s hard working spirit.

The brand new store will open on Friday, April 14 at 10am, on the Arndale Shopping Centre’s upper mall.

The new shop, which will be open seven days a week, will be stocking all of the Krispy Kreme favourites, including the best-selling Original Glazed.

The first customer in the queue on opening day is set to win a year’s supply of its doughnuts, meaning they’ll be able to claim a free ‘choose your own dozen’ box every month for 12 months. The prize is worth nearly £240, with a build your own box just shy of £20.

Meanwhile, the first dozen shoppers in line can expect to receive exclusive money-can’t-buy Manchester-exclusive merchandise.

Also available for a limited time will be the new Bee Doughnut featuring a millionaire's filling, dipped in yellow coating with dark chocolate icing.

The new doughnut costs £2.95 and will be available in the new location exclusively for the first three days, and then will become available in other Manchester locations for just three weeks.

After the launch day, the store will be open from 9am to 8pm from Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm Saturdays and 11.30am to 5.30pm on Sundays. On Friday, April 14, shoppers will be able to queue from 9am.

For those who’d like to order ahead, Click & Collect will be available at the new Manchester Arndale shop from Monday 10th April via the Krispy Kreme website
