Love Island guys slammed for wearing ‘butt ugly clothes’ to hideaway while girls dress up

If you’re thinking about going on Love Island next year you should probably invest in some sort of Chippendales outfit as the guys have been slammed by viewers for not marking an effort when they visit the hideaway. Luca was the victim of the criticism this time, as he donned a hoodie and a pair of boxers while Gemma dressed up in lingerie and heels for their night together in the secret area.

But it seems regular viewers on Love Island weren’t happy with the effort the boys have been putting in on that front, and Luca stood there with his hood up sipping on his water bottle didn’t seem to help things. However, in spite of this it seems like the pair had a good night together, with Gemma telling the girls the following morning that Luca had been whispering sweet nothings in her ear all night long.

The news that Luca had been constantly telling Gemma that she was “unreal” while she slept appeared to be too much for Ekin-Su, who said that the idea of it made her want to start crying. Luca was keeping his lips sealed on what went on the night before with the boys and didn’t seem keen to impart many details on his waiting audience.

In reaction to Luca’s outfit, @emilyliddle__ wrote: “what is it with these boys wearing butt ugly clothes to the hideaway”.

The sentiment was echoed by @MissOwusu1 who said: “The boys hideaway outfits are always so dead! what noone ain’t got a lil silk night coord…I know Dami won’t let us down”

At least @bonniemayxx was happy enough with Gemma’s effort, writing: “Gemma does look good tho. I see you girl #LoveIsland ”
