Louis Theroux stuns diners after 'braving the snow' to visit top restaurant
Louis Theroux surprised diners by ‘braving the snow’ to visit a popular restaurant last weekend.
The TV presenter and documentarian, 54, was seen visiting Deacon’s Bank in the Peak District on Saturday evening (January 4). The casual fine dining restaurant features a vast menu, alongside Sunday roasts, afternoon tea sessions, a tasting menu and chef's table experiences.

Led by owner Tom Gouldburn, the venue's menu - curated by head chef Simon Harrison - features a focus on seasonal and local produce. Dishes include the likes of braised lamb shoulder, halibut, and Prosciutto wrapped pork fillet, alongside an After Eight mousse and a white chocolate parfait.
Posting on Facebook, the owners of the restaurant shared news of Louis’ visit at the weekend. They wrote: “Had a special visitor for dinner last night. @officiallouistheroux popped in for a meal on this cold snowy January weekend.
“Hope you all enjoyed your meal, we certainly enjoyed serving you. We have braved the snow and are open today if you fancy a lovely roast dinner or even just a few drinks.”
