Los Angeles Rams: Sean McVay confident despite Aaron Donald's retirement hints
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay doesn’t seem to be too concerned with recent comments made by Aaron Donald about his future.
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald has done pretty much everything that you can do in the game of football since he arrived in the league back in 2014 when the then-St Louis Rams took him with the 13th overall pick.
441 combined tackles, 226 QB hits, 150 tackles for loss and 98 sacks have turned into 8 Pro Bowl appearances, 7 First-team All-Pro honours, 3 NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards before his crowning achievement this year when he finally won a Super Bowl, the cherry on the cake that is his Hall of Fame resume, with the possibility for it to grow even further.
However, to do that he’ll have to come back to play this season, something that has very much been up in the air over the past few months, ever since it was revealed before the Super Bowl that he was prepared to walk away from the game if the Rams were victorious.

That revelation took a bit of a twist recently, when speaking on the ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast (quoted by Ari Meirov), Donald appeared to put the Rams under pressure to get a new deal done for him, stating that whilst he wants to play more following their Super Bowl victory, he would only do it for the right price, and that he will be ‘at peace’ if he has to retire as a result:
