Lorry fire closes A4232 M4 link road into Cardiff - live updates

A lorry fire has closed two lanes of a busy Cardiff road.

The incident was first reported on inrix at 10.37am on Friday, August 5. Traffic officers and South Wales Fire and Rescue appear to be at the scene.

The fire has closed two of three lanes on the A4232 southbound, just off the M4 at junction 33. Traffic is beginning to build in the area due to the lane closure.

The report says: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to lorry fire on A4232 Southbound at M4 J33 (Cardiff West And Services). Lanes one and two (of three) are closed, affecting traffic heading towards Culverhouse Cross.."
