Lorraine Kelly reacts as she brands Graziano Di Prima's axing from Strictly as 'disturbing'

Lorraine Kelly has branded Graziano Di Prima's sudden exit from Strictly Come Dancing as "disturbing".

The professional dancer released a statement last Saturday regarding his abrupt departure from the BBC show amid allegations of "gross misconduct" whilst partnered with Zara McDermott.

Discussing the scandal, Lorraine remarked: "Now there is more trouble for Strictly this morning following the news Graziano Di Prima has been axed from the show following what has been said as gross misconduct claims."

Lucy, the entertainment presenter and colleague of Lorraine opined: "He's been axed by the BBC over claims of gross misconduct.

"They apparently axed him in 48 hours after they saw a really damning video... we haven't seen the video but it involves his partner Zara McDermott."

Further discussing details Lucy said: "Apparently, according to reports, she hasn't spoken out but according to reports, they interviewed her after they'd seen this video just to sort of corroborate it."

She concluded by stating that it must have been really serious for the BBC to take such action.

In between the discussion Lucy also stated that Graziano and Zara are no longer following each other on social media, reports the Mirror.

Last Saturday, Graziano promised his Instagram followers that he would reveal more details when deemed appropriate.

In a heartfelt post, he wrote: "I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime.
