London Euston chaos LIVE as all trains suspended and Manchester Piccadilly services hit with delays

There is travel chaos on the railways today as trains from London Euston have been suspended due to an ongoing technical issue.

Services leaving the major station, including those to Manchester, have been halted due to a "fault with the signalling system between Watford Junction and London Euston / Clapham Junction".

A huge disruption notice sign in the station has warned travellers that services are expected to be impacted 'until further notice'. In the last hour, four trains to Manchester Piccadilly have been cancelled.

Pictures from inside the station shows hundreds of passengers waiting after a haul of services were delayed or cancelled this afternoon.

The latest update from National Rail reads: "A fault with the signalling system between Watford Junction and London Euston / Clapham Junction means all lines are blocked. As a result, services between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Major disruption is expected until 19:00."

This is a live incident. Updates to follow.

The latest National Rail update says; "Lines have reopened following a fault with the signalling system between Watford Junction and London Euston / Clapham Junction. Trains between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 90 minutes or revised.

"Major disruption is expected until 19:00."

A further update from National Rail says:
