LOI team news: Derry host Hoops as leaders Bohs face Cork

There is a full round of SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixtures spread across the May bank holiday with St Patrick's Athletic’s tie with Sligo Rovers kicking off the action at Richmond Park at 3pm.

The teams have faced off once already this season, with Sligo winning 2-1 at The Showgrounds in early March.

For Saints, Danny Rogers (thumb), Tom Grivosti (hamstring), and Harry Brockbank (calf) remain out as they continue their respective rehabs, while captain Joe Redmond (hamstring) is also missing.

"We've recovered well over the weekend and we've got our plans in place to face Sligo which is going to be another difficult one," said Saints manager Tim Clancy.

"We lost to them earlier in the season and we want to reverse that result, we'd like to get back to winning ways in front of our fans."

Three games kick off at 5pm including the clash at Dalymount Park as Bohemians entertain Cork City with both sides looking to bounce back from disappointing results on Friday night.

Bohs remain top of the table, however, their lead has now been cut to just three points with Derry and Shamrock Rovers closing in.

Ali Coote continues his recovery from a thigh injury and is close to returning, while Jordan Flores is available having served a suspension against UCD.

James Akintune remains a doubt as he recovers from a hamstring strain, while and Jay Benn returned from a calf injury to be part of the matchday squad on Friday but did not feature.

Drogheda take on Shelbourne at Weavers Park as the home side will be licking their wounds following their Louth derby defeat on Friday as they came out on the wrong side of a five-goal thriller.

The home side are set to be without the injured quartet of Ben Curtis, Evan Weir, Jarlath Jones and Darragh
