LOI preview: Hoops aim to stay clear after battle of the Rovers in Sligo

Derry City face a tough task in trying to bounce back from Friday's defeat to the Bit O' Red as they make the trek down to Inchicore to go up against an in-form St Patrick's Athletic who are just three points behind them and riding the crest of the new-manager-bounce wave.

Cork City also have the wind in their sails with three wins on the trot in spite of not having a permanent manager in place since Colin Healy's exit, but Bohemians have also got back to winning ways in time for the journey to Turner's Cross.

Drogheda United will be aiming to bounce back quickly from their defeat to Cork and Shelbourne will want to get back to scoring ways after three games without finding the net when they meet at Tolka Park, while Dundalk will view the visit of bottom side UCD to Oriel Park as an opportunity to make up for a run of four games without a win.
