Lock the Angry Bears OUT – Rangers traditionalists want Ultras gone as Hotline houses the astonishingly angry
The Rangers walk out is still a Hotline hot topic with supporters still split over the scenes in Sunday’s St Johnstone win.
The Union Bears and others made their point but plenty still reckon the young team were out of order. Jimmy Mac, Glasgow, said: “I cannot understand the Rangers fans who booed the Union Bears? The Union Bears along with RSA are trying to get the "not fit for purpose board and manager out" but it looks like the boo-boys are more than content with a mediocre team lagging miles behind Celtic. The reason Rangers are in such a mess is down to the board members who couldn’t run a minodge let alone our Rangers Institution.”
Willie Mercer, Dumfries, said: “Every Rangers supporter, particularly those financially invested either through investment, shares or season tickets has the right to voice their opinion on what is happening off and on the pitch. However there are many ways in which to do this without being divisive.
“There has got to be a realisation that many, if not all of the mismanagement and failings have been in the making for many years and that it will take a number of years to get it right off the pitch and a couple of seasons to get it right on the pitch.”
Peter Cooperwhite emailed: “I don't think the words mindless morons is appropriate. I would say young passionate fans who are looking for some sort of consistency from their team and manager. Let's face it these guys are the future fans who through time maybe bring in their sons and daughters to follow Rangers.
“They are just angry at the way the league has planned out. Maybe the crowd would have been better clapping rather than booing to show that they are not happy either.”
