Livingston v Hamilton: Steven Bradley hopes inside info can help Accies plot Lions' downfall

Steven Bradley revealed Hamilton gaffer John Rankin has been picking his brains about how to plot Livingston's downfall this weekend.

And the former Lions winger joked he'll be looking to take some of the credit if they can get one over his old side.

The 22-year-old left David Martindale's Lions at the end of last season's nightmare campaign, which saw Livi relegated and Bradley's game time limited, leading to him requesting to be put on the transfer list.

He will now return to Almondvale for the first time since his exit with a point to prove and he explained he and Rankin have got their heads together to try and master an away win.

He said: "The gaffer has asked me about a few things about Livingston this week and hopefully that works out for us.

"If we do win, I will be taking a bit of credit for it if it goes our way though!

"Livi teams can be ugly and get in your face, especially the way Davie sets up his teams. He makes it a hard place to go, but hopefully we will come away with the three points on Saturday.

"Being a part of the Livi team before, I think every side that went there last season - even though we were relegated - didn't think they would just go there and get three points, they knew it would be difficult.

"It will be strange going back but I had a good time at Livi. It was just towards the end, I wasn't playing as much so I felt it was the right time to leave and go somewhere else for a change.

"I want to go there and prove a point. There was no bad blood with the way I left or anything so I don't mean that in a bitter way, but I want to show them that I have improved since I was with them and show them what I can do."
