Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is fit for the club’s Champions League last-16 first-leg showdown with Inter Milan tonight.

The England midfielder was substituted during the second half of his team’s narrow win over Burnley on Sunday but Jurgen Klopp has since confirmed the 31-year-old will be available for selection in Italy.

Elsewhere, Klopp has revealed there are no new injury issues for Liverpool heading into the game.

Still, it will be interesting to see whether or not the Reds boss opts to bring Diogo Jota back into the team.

One of the club’s best players this season, the Portuguese suffered a dead leg in training the day before the win at Turf Moor, meaning Sadio Mane was brought into the starting lineup upon his return from the Africa Cup of Nations.
