Liverpool ticket update provided ahead of a deadline for Nottingham Forest tie

Nottingham Forest have warned that today (Monday March 14) is the deadline for season card holders to secure their own seat at the City Ground for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool.

The Reds are in the last eight of the competition for the first time since Frank Clark's final full season as manager in 1996.

Season card holders wanting to purchase their own seat have until 11pm tonight to do so, and that time is also the deadline for a ticket for the tie to be automatically loaded onto a season card.

As of Monday morning, home members are now able to purchase a single ticket per person either online, over the telephone or in-person at the City Ground ticket office.

Adult tickets for season card holders are £28 and are £5 more (£33) for non-season card holders.

Whether those in attendance will be seeing Mohamed Salah lining up for the opposition remains to be seen after the Premier League top goalscorer limped off against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp revealed after the match that the 29-year-old believes it is "not serious".

“We will see," said Klopp. “He thinks it’s not serious, but you can see when Mo Salah is sitting down, then something is not 100 per cent right.

“I think it was the situation before when he hit the ball and got blocked – he wanted to shoot and got blocked, and I think the foot got slightly overstretched. We have to see.”

A further indication of Salah's fitness will come on Wednesday night when Klopp's side are set to make a trip to Arsenal for a rescheduled Premier League fixture.
