Liverpool 'target' Atletico Madrid striker as Divock Origi suitor 'emerges'

According to Sports Mole, Liverpool have set their sights on landing Atletico Madrid striker Matheus Cunha.

The forward arrived at the Wanda Metropolitano last summer but has only made three starts out of 17 La Liga appearances for Diego Simeone's men, scoring five goals in all competitions.

The report suggests that Jurgen Klopp has been tracking the 22-year-old for some time and if he is able to pull off a deal, it will pave the way for Divock Origi to leave Anfield.

Youri Tielemans, Leicester and Aurelien Tchouameni, Monaco

The Reds could be plotting a double swoop in the summer for Leicester star Youri Tielemans and Monaco prospect Aurelien Tchouameni, according to Sunday World journalist Kevin Palmer.

FA Cup-winner Tielemans was tipped to head to Anfield last summer but a lower asking price 12 months later may make the deal more realistic.

Monaco midfielder Tchouameni is reportedly available for a sum north of £80m, with Manchester United and Chelsea both interested but should no deal be done in this window, a move to Merseyside could still be on the cards.
