Liverpool set for 'transfer saga of the summer' involving £90m star

Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah could be at the centre of ‘the transfer saga of the summer’ if he fails to sign a new contract at Anfield in the coming months, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Salah’s £200,000-per-week deal is due to expire in the summer of 2023 and he has not come to an agreement over fresh terms despite the Reds being desperate to keep the attacker on their books.

Seeing Salah depart would come as a huge blow to Liverpool as the attacker has racked up 153 goals and won five trophies on Merseyside.
