Liverpool's trophy parade turnout compared with Man City's in video

Liverpool fans turned out in the thousands to celebrate the team’s success on Sunday.

Despite the disappointment of the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, supporters lined the streets of the city to cheer the players following their double trophy-winning season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side won the FA Cup and the League Cup. They had dreams of a historic quadruple but were unable to add the final two trophies to the collection.

Yet there was no sense that the fanbase was disappointment as Liverpool’s players enjoyed an incredible reception at the parade.

Fireworks and flares were set off, painting the city red, while DJ and Liverpool fan Calvin Harris joined the players onboard one of the open-top buses to soundtrack the event.
