Liverpool predicted XI vs Aston Villa as Jurgen Klopp set to make Mo Salah call

Aston Villa face a tough task to retain their unbeaten run this evening as Liverpool travel to Villa Park in desperate need of a win after they dropped points to Tottenham Hotspur last time out.

Liverpool drew 1-1 to Antonio Conte's Spurs on Saturday night and Jurgen Klopp's side are now three points off top spot after title favourites Manchester City took full advantage by beating Newcastle United 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. They are however still unbeaten in 16 Premier League games and know they can take the title race to the final day if they maintain a perfect record in their remaining games of the campaign.

Klopp has an FA Cup final to look forward to this weekend and he could opt to make changes to the team which drew to Tottenham at the weekend for the clash with Villa. Though, whoever Klopp picks to play at Villa Park, Gerrard's men will have their work cut out this evening.

In goal, Brazilian stopper Alisson will start behind an expected back-four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Andy Robertson.

In midfield, Klopp will surely keep Fabinho at the base of a trio including Thiago and Naby Keita, with the Guinea international due a start having played from the off in just two of Liverpool's last five Premier League games. Jordan Henderson could miss out as a he is likely to start in the cup final on Saturday - the 31-year-old also started eight of Liverpool's last nine league fixtures.
